Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s relationship with the Marathi film industry is known to many. From extending support to many movies to sharing a close bond with Riteish Deshmukh, CM Eknath Shinde, and others, he doesn’t leave a stone unturned to express admiration towards the Marathi entertainment industry. Having launched the trailer of Prasad Oak and Kshitish Date starrer Dharamveer in 2022, he graced the trailer launch of the movie’s sequel on Saturday evening in Mumbai. For the unversed, the movie is based on the life of one of Shiv Sena’s most revered leaders, Anand Dighe. The movie will be released on August 9th, 2024.

Photos and videos of Khan attending the trailer launch event have gone viral on social media. The actor was all smiles as he greeted the guests present at the event and even posed for the paparazzi present there. He was seen enthusiastically greeting the CM, Govinda, and veteran actor Jeetendra, who were also present at the trailer launch event. Shinde felicitated the 58-year-old actor with a green shawl and a flower bouquet.

After the trailer of Dharamveer 2 was unveiled, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor was invited to share a few words about the film. Quoted by News18, he said, “I came for the trailer launch of the first part and it became a super hit. I hope the sequel is an even bigger hit. Thank you. Jai Hind. Jai Maharashtra!” 

On the work front, Salman Khan will be next seen in AR Murugadoss’ upcoming action flick Sikander alongside Rashmika Mandanna. He also has Vishu Vardhan and Karan Johar’s The Bull in the pipeline. If reports are to be believed he will be collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan, for YRF’s spy thriller Pathaan vs Tiger.
